Application requirements

Who can apply for the Graduate Programme?

All residents in the Republic of South Africa with a tertiary qualification, obtained in five or less years (including those graduating at the end of 2024), may apply for the OG Graduate Programme from August 2024.

Can I apply if I am not a South African Citizen?

No, only South African residents can apply

How does the application process work?

In August 2024, applications for the programme will become available on [email protected] You'll need to read the brief and submit the work via the online form.

Application hints and tips

The application system is simple, read the brief provided and if you think you can answer the brief click on the link provided, you will be asked basic information about yourself, and make sure that you upload all the required documents, as an incomplete application will automatically be removed from the system. Please be as concise as possible in answering any additional questions, to ensure all key points are captured.

What is the challenge?

We need to see if you are able to answer a brief. Creativity is pervasive throughout our business, so challenge yourself. Choose your platform. Stay tuned; we'll announce the challenge on the day applications open.

What do I do once I've submitted my online application?

We will be screening each application and will shortlist those to be invited to Super Saturday, hosted in Johannesburg office on the 26th October and in Cape Town on the 19th October 2024

How do I attend the Super Saturday if I'm not near an Ogilvy SA office?

To compete for a chance to be part of the OG programme, all shortlisted applicants are required to attend a Super Saturday in either Cape Town or Johannesburg and own travel arrangements must be made

What is the 'Super Saturday'?

On Super Saturday we'll assess your skills against the other applicants eyeing for the chance to get into the OG Programme. You'll do a group exercise, a face-to-face interview and lots more. You'll get the opportunity to meet our people, both on a senior level and current graduates. And you'll get a chance to have a look around and find out what it's really like to work at Ogilvy South Africa.

When is 'Super Saturday'?

Johannesburg office on the 26th of October 2024 and in Cape Town on the 19th of October 2024

What happens after Super Saturday?

Once the judges have made their final decision, our team will let you know whether you have made it into the programme or not.

Can I re-apply if I've not been successful?

Yes. You are more than welcome to apply for the 2026 programme when applications open up again next year, provided you continue to adhere to the application requirements.

When is the applications closing date ?

Application close on the 10th September 2024.
